Our Education students invited Augustana Lutheran over to decorate some cookies. They look amazing! They were taken over to the Northland Rescue Mission for them to enjoy. Nice project!
Our Sunday School and Confirmation students helped out at the Global Friends Coalition annual picnic on Sunday, September 22nd. They had a great time doing the games with the kids. This is becoming an annual activity for our students. It was a fun day.
St. Mark’s paired with Augustana Lutheran for Vacation Bible School this year. Sessions were held at Northern Air in GF. There was a lot of learning and a lot of fun along with that!
Some of our Sunday School students took part in Augustana Lutheran’s Easter egg hunt on April 13th. They had a great time and enjoy their continued fellowship with their friends at Augustana.
On Sunday, our Sunday School and Confirmation students teamed up with the students at Augustana Lutheran church to decorate cookies. The 200 cookies were baked by members of St. Mark’s and Augustana, and the kids did all the frosting and decorating.
The St. Mark’s children donated 100 cookies to residents at Northland Rescue Mission. Augustana sold their cookies to raise funds for Feed My Staving Children.
Thank you to Thrivent Financial for donating the funds to purchase the cookie dough and frosting. What a great project!
December 16th, during worship, we were treated to a program by our Sunday School students. They did a wonderful job telling us all about all the animals at the nativity. Thank you to all the students and their leaders, Michele and Kristen. Thank you, also, to all the parents and grandparents that faithfully bring your family members to St. Mark’s every week. What a wonderful worship we had!! (The last picture is of the kids a few years ago)
Pumpkin Patch Outing – Our Sunday School students enjoyed an afternoon at the Patch at the Point in East Grand Forks on Sunday afternoon. Looks like they had a great time!!

May 13, 2018 —- The Sunday School students baked and frosted cookies to celebrate Mother’s Day and to serve the congregation after worship yesterday. Thank you to their leaders, Michele and Kristen, for another year of learning, projects and lots of fun along the way. Next Sunday will be the last Sunday of classes until the fall. What a great group we have! We are proud of you all.

The Sunday School students and members from our Education Committee volunteered at the 2018 Feed My Starving Children Mobile Pack in April. This is an annual event for them and they have a great time during their 2 hour time.

Our Sunday School kids have been taking Ukulele classes from Mark Peterson. They have shared their music with the congregation and recently were at Tufte Manor. They enjoyed a couple hours playing their ukuleles, playing bingo and sharing snacks. It was a great afternoon.
