God’s Work, Our Hands
This month, we will celebrate Thanksgiving with friends and family. As we give Thanks for our blessings we have only to take a short drive, listen to the local news, or read the paper to realize others in our community remain in need. To help address this demand your Mission Committee will hold its 2nd Annual Northlands Rescue Mission Food and Clothing Drive.
The drive will run from November 5th through November 30th. A display, highlighting this drive, is in our Narthex.
Requested items are personal hygiene plus other items like warm boots, hats, mittens/gloves, snow pants, bath towels, warm socks, plastic rain ponchos, plastic reflective emergency blankets (sell for about $3 each), face masks, chapstick, butter, cheese, coffee, gallon ziplock style bags, hand and foot warmer packets, etc.
Thanks for your continued support as St Mark’s continues to reach out to the needy.
