Dale Raatz – Intern Pastor
I have been the Interim Minister here at St. Mark’s since this past March and thoroughly enjoy working with this congregation. For a small church they have a dynamic Mission Program that rivals some of the larger congregations in Grand Forks, and are very talented musically, and have a Great Quilter’s Group.
I am currently entering my fourth and final year as a student at Luther Seminary, and have just started my Internship Year here, and will graduate in May of 2019.
I am a retired military veteran with 20 years of service in the United States Air Force as an Air Traffic Controller, and after retirement became a Lecturer at the University of North Dakota for 8 years. I also taught at a private Air Traffic Control School for three years and have taught in the Grand Forks School District as a Substitute Teacher for three years.
I am married to Terezinha (Teri), and we have two grown children who are both married Francisco (Jackie) and Cassandra (Craig), and six grandchildren: Aiden, Alexsandro, Makayla, George, Cecilia and Charlotte.
I was raised on a farm near Oakes, North Dakota, where we raised livestock, small grains and row crops. Teri and I currently live here in Grand Forks.

Sandy Buchmann – Office Manager
I have been in the office here at St. Mark’s since July of 2008. My days are spent answering phones, greeting people, coordinating activities in the church and keeping track of the finances. I feel so blessed coming to work every day and spending time with my St. Mark’s family. I also am one of the St. Mark’s organists.
